This presentation introduces the United States Core Data for Interoperability (USCDI)). You will learn what the USCDI is, who publishes the USCDI and how it impacts Public Health interoperability. The presentation also covers USCDI+ and its relationship to USCDI. We also discuss how the Public Health community can contribute to the content of these programs to ensure that it meets the needs of the community.

A fishbone diagram helps team members visually diagram a problem or condition's root causes, allowing them to truly diagnose the problem rather than focusing on symptoms.

The interoperability of data, and delivery of a consistent level of data quality, are critical factors in the National Digital Health Strategy – both for quality of immediate care, and for the development of longer-term health strategies.
